At CTV we believe that God speaks to us through the Bible. We hear from God better when we read and interact with his written word together. Below you will find the Bible reading for each week day, along with some initial comments from one of our facilitators. May God meet and shape us through this conversation! Todaty we begin th theme of the Christian life. Colossians 3 walks us through this life by starting at the general--we've been given a new life in Christ (1-4) and ending in the practical--guidance for day-to-day relationships and work (18-end). In the middle we find the essence of how we move forward. In light of what God has done for us through Christ, we put off the old, and put on the new. God gives us a "no" and a "yes." It is our privilege and responsibility to partner with him in becoming the kind of people he wants us to be.
Does the flow of Colossians 3 change your concept of how you grow or improve? What do you need to put on and/or put off?
